Fowl Owl

Fowl Owl is the egotistical owl WHO hosts W.I.N.G.’s discussion panel "Fowl Mouth". He discusses political views and other worldly subjects with various guests. But he worries Luckl’s new-age ideas will push him and his show out of the spotlight which brings drama around the station.

Fowl Owl’s real name is Luther Von-Tawny Burrows Owl III. Outside of the station he is a connoisseur of classical music, performs opera, and writes and directs his own plays. He’s currently working on his next production, “Tears of the Phoenix”.

KESMOE PEAPOD

Species: Green-Rumped Parrolet

Role: W.I.N.G.’s DJ

Kesmoe Peapod is a green-rumped parrotlet and the DJ at W.I.N.G. Kesmoe is a lover of Catnip and has been crowned as “The Kitty God” to the local feline population. Often, his Catnip-fogged brain gets in the way of work and he’s often found napping.

Kesmoe is native to the west coast and ended up east after he fell asleep on the wing of an airplane. He woke up to find himself in Connecticut. From there he got the gig as W.I.N.G’s DJ where he eventually became best friends with Luckl-Duckl Bird.

KOO FOO

Species: Stunted Stanley Crane
Bird Call: Chirp.
Hatching Day: April 11th
Role: W.I.N.G.’s News & Weather Anchor

Koo Foo is a stunted Stanley crane who takes the helm as the news and weather anchor at W.I.N.G. Koo Foo embraces change and is an absolute realist among the flock.

The frizzy plumage on his head is from the many strikes of lightning he's taken over the years. His bird call is a subtle “chirp” just so he doesn’t bother anyone with the noise.

Dillon Quailstein

Species: Quail
Bird Call: CHI-KA-GOW
Hatching Day: August 15th
Role: Intern/”Emerging Manager”

Dillon Quailstein is the "emerging manager" (a.k.a. the intern) at W.I.N.G. He's a short quail with an even shorter temper. Dillon was raised by emus, giving way for his Napoleon complex to cultivate. He has no interest in finding his real family and enjoys the emu family reunions.

Dillon favors Francise when it comes to socializing among the W.I.N.G. staff. Though he would never admit it, he trusts Francise and knows she will truly be there as a support. Dillon doesn’t raise his voice unless something upsets him... which is easy.

LUCKL-DUCKL BIRD

Species: Dodaramius
Bird Call: SQUAWK

Role: Commercial & Jingle Writer

Luckl-Duckl Bird is the rare Dodaramius; 65% dodo, 22% roadrunner, 11% duck, and 2% ‘other’. He’s been sought after by many bird watchers over the years but always slips away. With Luckl’s recognizable “SQUAWK” as his bird call, he stands out among the flock. Luckl goes talon to talon against any bird that threatens him and his feathered friends.

Thanks to Luckl’s quick-wit, he’s able to write and perform jingles and commercial spots at W.I.N.G. He’s a dreamer and advocates hosting his own radio show in order to make a name for himself.

FRANCISE BIRDLING

Species: Crowned Pigeon

Hatching Day: September 22nd
Role: W.I.N.G. Programming Director

Francise Birdling is the headstrong crowned-pigeon that works as W.I.N.G.'s Programming Director. Francise, or better known as “Franny” to the flock, plays honorary aunt and mentor to Luckl-Duckl Bird. She’s extremely organized and rarely asks for help because she’s got it all under control.

Franny is also known for her terribly-cheesy puns and jokes. But if you see her with her clipboard, be prepared to get to work! She runs a tight ship so be prepared to follow her directions.

SPECK

Species: Yellow Canary
Bird Call: KABOOM
Hatching Day: June 18th
Role: W.I.N.G.’s Mascot

Speck is a "speck-sized" pyromaniac canary. He has a very high-pitched squeaky voice making it difficult for the rest of the flock to understand him. The others say Speck only speaks “canary”.

Speck is considered to be Luckl’s pet. But Luckl treats Speck more like a little brother. Speck doesn’t have an official bird call. But explosions seem to fit as his feathery, fiery cry. He may look cute but don’t trust that innocent face.

SAMPY CHICKER

Species: Chicken
Bird Call: B-B-BOCK

Role: W.I.N.G.’s Boss

Mr. Sampy Harold Chicker is W.I.N.G.’s station manager. He's a male hen who stutters words beginning with “b”. He is a product of genetic experimentation gone awry as an egg on the farm.

Mr. Chicker's goal is to find the next “big thing” for the station and prove he’s a worthy manager to the reluctant staff. Chicker struts his stuff and “BOCKS” his pecking orders whenever he has a plan to better W.I.N.G.

Clifford Magpie

Species: Magpie
Bird Call: WAHOO
Hatching Day: February 28th
Role: Psychiatrist, Host of “Squawk to Me”

Mr. Clifford Magpie is the psychiatrist at W.I.N.G. with his show “Squawk to Me”. Magpie is originally from Igamoo County, Georgia where he has honed his southern hospitality and memorable accent.

He’s always willing to share advice and help with everyone’s problems… even if they don’t ask. He has an evil twin brother named Winston that lives in all mirrors. But no one has the heart to tell Magpie it’s his reflection.

PINKY THE WORM

Species: Earth Worm
Birthday: November 29th
Role: Grizzle’s Assistant

Pinky is a wriggly little earthworm who is the assistant of Grizzle Ingrid. Pinky was nearly eaten by Grizzle years ago. But when he called her fat for trying to eat him, she took him on as an employee… or how he sees it - enslaved by her iron wing. Pinky continues to bow to Grizzle’s every whim but if he ever gets the chance for freedom… he’ll wriggle away!

Poe Raven

Role: K.L.A.W.’s News Anchor

Poe Raven is a news reporter for K.L.A.W. Grizzle keeps Poe under her wing forcing him to report human hating propaganda to keep her brain washed listener’s satisfied. Poe has a very uneasy personality and is fixated on horror.

RUFFLETON POTSOWITZ

Species: Parrot
Bird Call: MA-HEH-HEH
Hatching Day: November 1st
Role: Head Elder of The Bird Union Council

Ruffleton Potsowitz is the Head Elder of the Bird Union Council. Ruffleton is a bit dim witted and his vocabulary doesn’t make sense to anybody except him. His views on humans and birds coexisting are not favorable.

Colleagues Abigail Coots and Murray Feathertwig help round out the council. They often find themselves disagreeing on cases leaving many to be under investigation for years. When Ruffleton isn’t behind the podium he can be found lounging at a jazz club or at the local pub.

BINGO FLAMINGO

Species: Flamingo

Role: Entrepreneur

Bingo Flamingo is a pink flamingo who is originally from Peru. He’s very blunt and says whatever he’s thinking. But Bingo is all about love! Bingo crash landed on Jaybird Street after losing his flamboyance en route south.

After his crash he met and fell in love with a flamingo named Fickle… who happens to be a plastic flamingo lawn ornament with no specific gender. Bingo takes up residence wherever him and Fickle find fit. Bingo keeps busy taking jobs all around the feathered community. You never know where he’s going to show up!

GRIZZLE INGRID

Role: K.L.A.W.’s Manager

Grizzle Ingrid is a finch who manages the ever failing station K.L.A.W. She is bent on revenge towards humans due to her unfortunate past as a pet. Grizzle uses the help of her smarmy assistant Pinky the Worm run K.L.A.W. whether he likes it or not..

Grizzle knows she's one of a kind... gorgeous. She continues to seek followers to help overthrow the human race. Grizzle will do whatever it takes to claw her way to the top… and she won’t let anyone stop her.

BUZZARD BEAK

Species: Turkey Vulture
Bird Call: SKAW
Hatching Day: October 19th
Role: Roadkill Parlor Owner

Buzzard Beak (Bernard Orville Beaklee) is a turkey vulture who is always focused on his next meal. He runs his business “Buzzard Beak’s Roadkill Parlor & Undertaker Service" where, you guessed it, he sells and houses roadkill for other birds of prey. He’s known to pick up jobs as henchman to the grizzly Grizzle Ingrid for K.L.A.W. But Buzzard doesn’t consider himself a villain. In his mind he is simply a performance artist. You can find him humming a tune on the side of the road while awaiting his next victim… er, meal.

KI KI KOOKABURRA

Species: Kookaburra

Role: Pop Star

Ki Ki is an up and coming pop star in the bird-entertainment world! She has an extremely positive attitude and outlook on life. Often her bubbly personality leaves others thinking she is dim-witted. But Ki Ki’s intellect and business sense immediately change that mindset.

She’s best known for collaborating music with the band The Eggheads. The tabloids enjoy writing about Ki Ki’s love life… But she doesn’t define herself by her romantic relationships. She is grounded and proud of who she is… especially her raucous bird call.

Sampy chicker junior (“CJ”)

Species: Chicken

Role: The B-Boss’s Son

Sampy Harold Chicker Junior (better known as “CJ”) is the son of W.I.N.G.’s boss Mr. Sampy Harold Chicker and Deloris Elaine Chicker. CJ hatched in the station and the flock considered him family. But over time he’s become sort of a brat and using the power of his “daddy” to get his way.
